A unique innovation experience designed for mid-tier, community and regional banks
PHOENIX, Jan. 12, 2016 – CCG Catalyst, a management consulting firm offering strategic advice to banks, announced the launch of Project Catalyst, a four-pronged educational process involving research/analysis, summits, labs and workshops to stimulate forward thinking and encourage innovations among bank and fintech executives in efforts to disrupt and potentially transform an organization’s role within the financial industry.
Project Catalyst provides mid-tier, community and regional banks the same level of innovation that is currently practiced by the nation’s largest financial institutions. Elements of Project Catalyst include:
- Resarch and Analysis. Project Catalyst provides primary and secondary research to help adjust the business strategy to address changes that are occurring both internally and externally for banks. It publishes research reports on the state of banking, changes affecting the industry, and keeps a strong pulse on the growing number and impact of fintech firms.
- Catalyst Summit. Project Catalyst offers bi-annual informative events for the financial services industry to educate banks and fintechs on the industry’s current and future direction. The overarching theme addressed in each summit is change and disruption and the effects of these changes on financial services.
- Catalyst Lab. This highly collaborative environment stirs innovative thinking and jumpstarts new ideas in an intimate setting to help clients seek ideas and innovation for their financial services firm. Faciliated by CCG Catalyst, the Catalyst Lab captures ideas directly from participants and translates them into new ideas to instigate change.
- Catalyst Workshop. This quarterly check-in for clients serves as a means to help banks stay on track with the execution of ideas gained from the Catalyst Lab, review progress made and pinpoint any areas of improvement for banks.
“Project Catalyst was designed to provide banks with a new way to meet the complexities and challenges brought by changes in technology and consumer behavior,” said Paul Schaus, president of CCG Catalyst. “This forward-thinking innovation experience presents pioneering strategic methods and research in efforts to discover new business strategies that will help stimulate positive change in the banking industry and produce a solid roadmap for the future.”
