Enables banks to make better decisions during vendor selection process; identifies areas of strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
PHOENIX, Ariz., December 11, 2012 – Phoenix-based CCG Catalyst, a bank consulting firm providing strategic guidance for financial institutions, announced it now offers an on-demand, cloud-based service for system selection, as part of its request for proposal (RFP) management service for banks.
CCG Catalyst uses the RFP management software, CCG Evaluator, to assist banks with their vendor decision-making process and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of technology or services provided by vendor solutions. The RFP management system makes it easier to define a service or product being reviewed, issue copies of an RFP, regulate activity and analyze completed responses by scoring, weighting and statistical analysis.
“CCG Evaluator enhances our ability to help banks make sound decisions regarding the right vendors to select for their needs, while building stronger partnerships with vendors, who are in turn better able to serve their own bank customers,” said Paul Schaus, president of CCG Catalyst.
As the only bank consulting firm using a cloud-based RFP management system, CCG Catalyst provides improved system selection capabilities, transparent decision making, and administrative efficiencies. CCG Evaluator eliminates complex scoring calculations, emails, spreadsheets, and paper-heavy auditing analyses. All significant activity is logged on the system and can be queried online. The software’s username and password set up enables CCG Catalyst to create and work on the RFP project simultaneously from multiple locations. In addition, the company’s consulting staff can monitor responses to the RFP and work collaboratively with vendors.
